Welcome to the ALTC Exchange
Posted 6th June, 2008 by Aimee Forsstrom
Welcome to the Exchange
Welcome to the Exchange, a new online service provided by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) www.altc.edu.au
The Exchange offers resources and functions to support communication and collaboration across the higher education sector; enabling social networking, search and discovery and repository functions for lodging and sharing resources.
This current release is available for those involved in ALTC related projects and activities to be registered users. The wider community will have access to the non registered view, so they will be able to search and view resources and activities.
For more information on the Exchange use the About the Exchange and Exchange Tour links above. We appreciate your feedback, so please send us an email with your comments or questions about this exciting new higher education project. If you are a logged in user you can also provide feedback and have discussions about the Exchange in the Exchange Feedback & Discussion group.

Joining the Exchange
A design principle of the Exchange is that there will be open access for browsing, searching and downloading. If a user wishes to contribute a resource, or contribute to a blog, or join a forum discussion, then they will need to join the Exchange and login. Only ALTC related users currently are to register on the Exchange.
To join you will have to sign the terms and conditions governing use of the Exchange. You will need to agree to these conditions when first logging in.
